Brighton's loan move for out of favour Tottenham attacker Bryan Gil has been rekindled.
However, there will be no option or obligation to buy the Spaniard included in any potential deal.
The Seagulls will face competition in their attempts to finalise a deal before the deadline, with several others sides also interested in the 22-year-old, including Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Mail Sport previously reported how Gil is able to leave Spurs before the end of the transfer window, highlighting Brighton's interest on Tuesday.
Gil has hardly played since Ange Postecoglou's appointment in the summer - making just two Premier League starts.
After arriving from Sevilla for £21m in 2021, he has made four starts in the league in total for Spurs. Gil has been sent out on loan to Valencia and back to Sevilla in that period.
Gil has also failed to score and has registered just two assists across three seasons in north London.
