Liverpool's festival season is heating up with a slew of big names announced.
The past few days have ushered in a wave of talent from all over the globe who will take to the stage at their respective festivals.
Long-standing heavyweights such as Africa Oye is back for 2024 with Bob Marley's son Julian Marley and his band The Uprising as headliners.

Rising newcomer On The Waterfront has recruited a long list of classic cream DJs to get Pier Head jumping in what will no doubt be another sell-out experience.

Kicking things off on Thursday, June 20, will be the UK’s biggest open-air comedy show with award-winning comedian Paul Smith at the helm, joined by Hot Water Comedy regulars Jojo Sutherland, Mick Ferry and Jamie Hutchinson. Friday will see Britpop legends Ocean Colour Scene, who boast hits including 'The Riverboat Song’ and ‘The Day We Caught The Train’, headlinewith Liverpool band Cast as support.
Saturday sees dance music rule the roost as Ben Hemsley takes to the stage with support from Blk, with plenty more DJs still to be announced. The weekend will be brought to a close on Sunday with a headline performance from Scottish legends Deacon Blue, with the full lineup still to be revealed.
Creative force Les Amazones d'Afrique will close proceedings on Saturday, June 22, while Julian Marley, reggae legend Bob Marley's son, tops the bill on Sunday with his band, The Uprising. The popular DJ stages Trenchtown and Freetown are also confirmed
