Fabio Carvalho has confirmed his intention to return to Liverpool this summer and given his verdict on Jurgen Klopp's forthcoming exit.
Carvalho endured a difficult first season with the Reds following his move from Fulham in 2022. He made just 22 appearances in all competitions with 13 coming in the Premier League, and scored three goals.
After just one year on Merseyside, Carvalho was sent on loan to RB Leipzig last summer. However, his time in Germany didn't last long before he returned to Liverpool and was loaned out to Hull City in the Championship for the second half of the season.
Since his move to the Tigers, Carvalho has scored four goals in 11 appearances and is looking to guide the club to a Championship play-off spot. With the season nearing its conclusion, attention is soon beginning to look towards what will happen in the summer for Carvalho.
In an interview with Portuguese news outlet A Bola, Carvalho has opened up on what the future will hold for him. The 21-year-old did confirm that he would be returning to Liverpool for pre-season training this summer but did not say what may happen beyond that. "Yes! I'm going back in pre-season," Carvalho confirmed.
