Novak Djokovic showed his funny side by convincing internet star IShowSpeed that he plays for AC Milan.
The tennis world no.1 made an appearance at the Ballon d'Or awards ceremony in Paris amongst some of the biggest stars in football.
Speed, who gained his internet fame through his love of five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, was also in attendance.
Ahead of the start of the ceremony, he livestreamed on YouTube his encounters with some of this year's nominees.
Erling Haaland, Bernardo Silva and Emiliano Martinez all had a chat with him, as well as 24-time Grand Slam champions Djokovic.
«Hey bro, what's your name? You look so familiar,» Speed asked him, with the Serbian replying: «Hey man, what's up? Good to see you!»
Djokovic was then asked what his name was again and instead of revealing his true identity, he joked about playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
«I'm a new AC Milan star, I haven't played yet but I'm getting on in the next game, I'm going for a hat-trick,» Djokovic added.
Djokovic was also interviewed on the red carpet and revealed his love of football before.
«I am [a big fan]. Of course, football obviously is by far the most popular sport in the world,» he said.
«I grew up watching football, playing football, my father was professional for some time, so I'm really excited to be here.»
It's fair to say Djokovic's skills on the court are unmatched; whether he'd as successful on the pitch for AC Milan is a different question.
