A first-minute goal from former Pirates striker Terrence Dzvukamanja was enough to separate the two teams on a night that ended sour for Ntseki, who had to be escorted by law enforcement down the tunnel as angry Chiefs supporters hurled projectiles at the former Bafana coach.
On the night, Ntseki had also made several changes to that drew against Royal AM including handing Itumeleng Khune a first start of the season ahead of Petersen, who has kept four clean sheets this season.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Ntseki explained that the decision was from a rotational perspective.
"No [Petersen is not injured], we are doing more of rotation because I think the goalkeeping department has done very well and all the goalkeepers are in good shape," Ntseki said.
"So, we felt we needed to give Itu [Khune] a run today with Bruce [Bvuma] on the bench and going forward we will always give our goalkeepers a chance to play.
"I think Itu had a good game, so we can't be looking into the absence of another player when there was a player on the pitch who did very well."
