Patrick Vieira's Strasbourg want Tottenham outcast Davinson Sanchez
Strasbourg are keen on Spurs' Davinson Sanchez.
The French outfit, managed by Patrick Vieira, have already added Brugge's Akabar Sylla £17million and want to prise the Sanchez away from Spurs after six years there.
Sanchez's Tottenham career looks to be coming to an end after a difficult season. Against Bournemouth, fans booed when he came on, jeered his every touch, and cheered when he was withdrawn after 23 minutes of playing.
That left him visibly distraught and he is understood to be seeking an exit from Ange Postecoglou's side.
Chelsea bought a majority stake in the Ligue 1 club in June in their bid to build a multi-club network.
Vieira was appointed on a three-year contract earlier this month with the ambition of transforming the Alsatians from mid-table also-rans to European contenders.
Last season they finished 15th but they are one of France's most attended outfits and have a reputable history, winning the French title back in 1978/79.
Overall, across six seasons in London, Sanchez has made over 200 appearances.
Spurs' new manager recently spoke about squad-building ahead of the season. 'The most important thing for me right now is to build a team that is going to be successful in the Premier League,' he said. 'If I wait to see what an outcome is before I start that process I'm going to lose valuable time.'
Speaking about Harry Kane's future, he said: 'I don't try to predict. You always have contingencies in your head, not just about Harry but about any player, because, knock on wood, someone could get injured on the eve of the season and you've got to be ready as a manager for all possibilities.'
