Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish were forced off through injury during their 3-1 win over FC Copenhagen.
The Premier League title contenders have had a clean bill of health since the return of Kevin De Bruyne, as they catapulted themselves back into the race. However, during their Champions League Round of 16 tie against the Danish giants, they were handed fresh injury worries in Silva and Grealish.
Grealish was forced off after just 21 minutes and replaced by Jeremy Doku, when the 28-year-old went down under no challenge. It was the England international's first start since their FA Cup third-round win in January, but he now faces a period on the sidelines with a suspected muscle injury.

Former Monaco midfielder Silva has been one of the key cogs in Guardiola's midfield since arriving in the Premier League and was on the scoresheet against Copenhagen, restoring their lead to make it 2-1. But he too was replaced during their European knockout encounter with 12 minutes remaining, and post-match, the City manager offered a diagnosis on the pair.
"Bernardo (Silva) has a big knock in his ankle and didn't speak to Jack but it looks like it's muscular," he said. "Over the last few days, his mood in training has been much much better.
"He was playing really good and helped us play at the right tempo, you cannot play so slow or so fast against teams who are organised, you have to find the right moment and Jack helped us a lot. Hopefully he can recover quickly."
It remains to be seen how severe the injury problems are for
