Luke Littler has been brutally slammed by his Euro Tour semi-final opponent Ricardo Pietreczko after beating the German 7-3. The 17-year-old, who broke onto the professional scene in his PDC World Darts Championship debut back in December, has hit mainstream fame over the past few months with Pietreczko not taking too kindly to his on-stage antics in Belgium.
Littler, averaging 104.25 throughout the match, hit a double 10 to beat Pietreczko and reach the final at the expense of No.16 seed. Following the conclusion of the match, the pair shook hands with Pietreczko then rather aggressively talking into Littler's face which subsequently left the teenager confused.
The 29-year-old's grievances appeared to be explained after he posted on Instagram in the wake of his defeat. His message in German translated to: “Well, I really appreciated him being able to play a game like that at such an age, but I hope his arrogance punishes him.”
