It will be the 176th running of the Randox Grand National at Aintree Racecourse this Saturday, April 13.
This year, there will be 34 runners and riders all trying to land the Aintree showpiece and many will go in with a realistic chance of glory from last year's one-two Corach Rambler and Vanillier, 2022 winner Noble Yeats, leading Irish contenders I Am Maximus and Mahler Mission as well British hopefuls like Scottish Grand National hero Kitty's Light.
Here the ECHO's racing reporter Chris Wright picks out the 10 horses that he thinks have the best chance of winning the world's greatest steeplechase when the tapes go up at 4pm this Saturday with his rating out of five.

1 AIN'T THAT A SHAME (Trainer: Henry De Bromhead. Jockey: David Maxwell)
Henry De Bromhead’s 10-year-old was last of the 17 finishers behind Corach Rambler in last year’s Grand National under Rachael Blackmore. De Bromhead – who won the race with the Blackmore-ridden Minella Times in 2021 – believes that Ain’t That A Shame wasn’t quite right that day on only his eighth start over fences and expects a much better run this time. He had been fourth in the Paddy Power Chase last December and this year bounced back to form with a fine victory in the Thyestes Chase at Gowran Park in January. Can finish again, under his new owner and rider David Maxwell, and could get much closer this time. SCORE (out of five): 3
