Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has criticised Andre Onana and Anthony Martial for their performances in the 3-3 draw against Galatasaray.
United made the perfect start in Istanbul as Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes gave the Reds a two-goal lead after less than 20 minutes. Hakim Ziyech pulled one back for the hosts on the half-hour mark when Onana was wrong-footed by a fierce free kick.
Erik ten Hag's side managed to regroup though and restored their two-goal advantage through Scott McTominay shortly after the interval. However, that would be as good as it got for the Reds as Ziyech added his second following a poor error from Onana as he attempted to stop the free kick.

Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglou then levelled the match with 20 minutes remaining to conclude a chaotic 90 minutes. Reflecting on the game on CBS Sports' Golazo, Schmeichel highlighted Onana's errors but also singled out Martial's performance when he came on.
"Do you know what? I think the back four played very well today, I don't think they could have done much more," he explained. "Again though, you can't argue, the mistakes by the goalkeeper are very, very expensive.
"Every time a goalkeeper makes a mistake, it is a goal, that is just a fact of life. If you go back to Sunday, everything worked really well but when you play at this level, every little mistake you make is being penalised and you have got to learn that.
