Arsenal took on Brentford on Saturday in a hugely important Premier League clash at the Gtech Community Stadium. Earlier in the day, title rivals Manchester City drew 1-1 with Liverpool, offering the Gunners a chance to go top if they could defeat the Bees.
Mikel Arteta’s side then clinched all three points thanks to a last-gasp Kai Havertz winner. The German international, who came off the bench in the 79th minute, netted a back-post header late on to secure a 1-0 victory for the away team.

«Sure enough, Havertz got his introduction late on and delivered the crucial late winner for the away side. A start in Europe in midweek may well be his reward.»
