Rachael Blackmore and Betfair are aiming to take their charity donation total to over £250,000 across the 2024 Grand National Festival at Aintree.
Ahead of last November's Betfair Chase Day at Haydock Park, the 2021 Grand National-winning jockey announced her partnership with the bookmaker to raise money for the Injured Jockeys Fund and Irish Injured Jockeys, collected in a pot known as the 'Serial Winners Fund'.
Betfair immediately contributed £100,000 of their money towards the cause while challenging Blackmore to raise more funds - which would be donated by Betfair in £5,000 increments - by winning races between the November meeting at Haydock and the Grand National this Saturday, April 13.

Blackmore, a Betfair ambassador, said: "This is a very generous initiative from Betfair and one that I am excited to be a part of over the coming season.
"The work of IIJ and IJF is vital in providing support services for jockeys past and present. It’s great to have Betfair supporting not only me, but two organisations that are so important to us as jockeys."
She had managed to stack the pot up to £185,000 prior to last month's Cheltenham Festival, ahead of which she prompted Betfair to double their donations per race win. The bookmaker obliged, meaning her 18th and 19th victories of the season riding Slade Steel and Captain Guinness at the Gloucestershire meeting took the Serial Winners Fund total to £205,000.
With Aintree the final opportunity for Blackmore to add to her total, she is hoping to have a successful time on Merseyside - perhaps repeating her Grand National heroics with Minella
