Rennes will be hoping to retain their status as one of Ligue 1’s in-form teams after the international break as they prepare to face Strasbourg on Sunday afternoon.
L’Équipe report that Julien Stéphan is set to make two changes to his team that beat Marseille 2-0 before the international break. These two changes are set to force a change in formation too. Stéphan should opt for a 4-4-2 formation against Strasbourg rather than a 4-3-3.
The two changes for Rennes are forced. Both Ludovic Blas and Adrien Truffert are forced out through suspension meaning they will be unable to take any part in the match. Desiré Doué is set to replace Blas in the centre of the pitch and Arthur Theate is set to return to the starting eleven at left-back.
Steve Mandanda – Guéla Doué, Warmed Omari, Christopher Wooh, Arthur Theate – Benjamin Bourigeaud, Baptiste Santamaria, Desiré Doué, Martin Terrie – Arnaud Kalimuendo, Amine Gouiri.
