Roma are making positive progress in their move to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches.
The Giallorossi have been linked with a move for the Portuguese star over the last few weeks, with the player previously said to have been keen.
Daniele Longo has now reported that the move is approaching closer to the finishing line after some positive developments. Roma are said to be filing out the last few details of the move, with the Giallorossi working on an initial loan deal with the option to buy the ex-Benfica man permanently.
Sanches is now also pushing to join his compatriot Jose Mourinho and the move could now conclude soon, with Roma having signed Gini Wijnaldum on loan from PSG last summer and the Dutchman has already returned to the Ligue 1 giants.
Mourinho’s side have already strengthened in midfield, having signed Houssem Aouar on a free transfer after his contract at Lyon ran out.
