Two RuPaul’s Drag Race UK stars have revealed what life has been like since leaving the show.
Season three contestants Anubis and Charity Kase said it has been a “rollercoaster ride” after finding fame on the BBC competition. Charity Kase, a 27-year-old fine art student, has gone on to marry whereas 22-year-old Anubis from Brighton has toured around the world.
Now, with a new-found platform, the drag queens want to "take back control” of their work “at a time when it is much needed”.

Charity told the ECHO: “My life has changed in many ways since being on the show. It obviously helps with work and income but also being recognised for my work and able to use my platform for what I want to move into.”
Anubis said: “Life since Drag Race has been a rollercoaster ride and it certainly hasn’t stopped, that’s for sure. It’s been amazing touring around the world and meeting people who connect with you and your art.
“It's given me a lot of opportunities and I’m super grateful for that. It can also be a tough ride with many obstacles and challenges, but I have learned so much since filming three years ago.”
The performers spoke with the ECHO ahead of their new self-produced tour. On Friday, December 8, the pair will be stopping at Pride Quarter venue Superstar Boudoir, on Stanley Street, to deliver a “wild ride of a comedy show”.
