Ryan Gravenberch is believed to have landed on Merseyside ahead of completing a transfer move to Liverpool.
The ECHO reported yesterday evening the Reds had agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for the services of the midfielder, who is set to join the club in a deal worth an initial £34.2million.
Should there be no complications during the medical, Gravenberch will sign a five-year deal to become their fourth signing of the summer after Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.
Gravenberch was due to travel to England yesterday evening, set for an arrival time of 9:16pm, though Sky Germany made clear this flight was unexpectedly cancelled and rescheduled for this morning.
