Arnaut Danjuma could be out for the rest of the month with an ankle injury suffered at Fulham.
The forward limped off the pitch in the final stages of last month’s goalless draw at Craven Cottage and has not yet returned to action. Sean Dyche is preparing for him to be unavailable for next week’s clash with Crystal Palace.
The Villarreal loanee is also a doubt for the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion the following week, though Dyche said he is making progress in his recovery.
In better news for Everton, Abdoulaye Doucoure is closing on a return while Amadou Onana made his comeback in the defeat to Manchester City.

Speaking after two late Erling Haaland goals consigned Everton to a battling defeat, Dyche said he would be surprised to have Danjuma available in the next fortnight.
The Blues boss was, however, able to turn to Onana and Seamus Coleman, who has also struggled with injury over recent weeks, in the closing stages while he suggested Doucoure is making strides towards a comeback from a hamstring issue.
Dyche said: “I thought he [Onana] did well when he came on, he looked bright and he has looked bright around the place as he has been coming back from injury. Gana [Gueye] has worked ever so hard, Jimmy [Garner] again - two good performances there - and Seamus gets a few more minutes. We are beginning to get full fitness back. It is going to be important over the remaining games of the season. We will hopefully have better news during this week on Douc as well being out on the grass.”
