Sheffield United are reportedly set to be without striker Rhian Brewster for the visit of Arsenal on Monday night.
The Gunners travel to the Blades in red-hot form after thrashing West Ham United, Burnley and Newcastle United in their last three Premier League matches. Their opponents on Monday night conceded five goals twice in February and were hammered 8-0 at Bramall Lane back in September by the Magpies.
The odds are stacked against Chris Wilder's side to stay up this season and his hopes of having a striker back for the visit of Mikel Arteta's men have been handed a blow, according to journalist Alan Nixon. Nixon reports the former Liverpool forward has picked up yet another injury and will miss the game tomorrow.
Brewster's injury has been described as 'shattering' with the 23-year-old having already spent two separate long stints on the sidelines with issues this season. If he does miss out again, it will come as a surprise to Wilder who gave an injury update on the forward in his pre-match press conference.
«You can never say never but we're all delighted that he got through that shift that he put in on Sunday, for 75 minutes,» the Blades boss said. «We wanted to keep him on the pitch because he was a threat going deep into the game.
