Manchester City's goalkeeper, Ederson, is set to be out of action for about a month due to an injury he got during the match against Liverpool.
Ederson was trying to stop Darwin Nunez from reaching a backpass from Nathan Ake when he got hurt. He tried to keep playing but had to leave the pitch a few minutes later, with Stefan Ortega taking his place. Tests have shown that Ederson will need three to four weeks to recover.
This means he'll likely miss the important match against Arsenal at the end of the month. He probably wouldn't have played against Newcastle in the FA Cup this week anyway, but the league games against Arsenal, Aston Villa and Wolves might be too soon for him to make a return.

The first leg of the Champions League quarter-final is scheduled for April 9/10 and the goalkeeper may even miss that important encounter, reports the Manchester Evening News. While this is bad news for City, manager Pep Guardiola can trust Ortega to step in.
The German has proven himself as the best No.2 goalkeeper the club has had in recent years and is always ready for the chance to play more often. Ortega stepped in when Ederson couldn't play at Anfield on Sunday and is going to have more game time.
John Stones shared his verdict on Ortega and how he played after he had to come into the game.
"Incredible keeper. Not easy at all to come in at this stage and how he played, the saves that he pulled off, such intelligent saves," he said. "A big shout out to Stefan for coming off the bench at such a difficult place and being ready, which everyone always is."
