Chelsea can win the Premier League in the next three years, claims Simon Jordan.
Mauricio Pochettino arrived in the summer but is having a tough time already in the Chelsea hotseat with an abysmal start to the campaign.
After ten Premier League games, the Blues have won just three and have 12 points — losing to teams including Aston Villa, West Ham, Nottingham Forest and most recently Brentford.
Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over in the summer of 2022 and have spent lavishly, passing the £1billion mark in the 2023 summer transfer window.
Their first season ended awfully as they finished tenth in the Premier League but are currently 11th in the table this term.
But that has not stopped talkSPORT's Jordan from insisting that Chelsea can win the Premier League within three years — and as early as in two years time.
The ex-Crystal Palace chairman said on White & Jordan: «This is one of the downsides of people having a lot of money, theirs or someone else's, and not having a lot of footballing intelligence and paying way too much for players.
»But there is no doubt about it, Chelsea will get there. It is about how quickly they get there and whether Pochettino is going to take them.
«I have never felt Pochettino will win them the Premier League. I thought he would get them to a point where they operate in the top four.
»But that is not Chelsea's blueprint. Right now, even that argument looks unsustainable because they are not great.
«They are not anywhere near what we think they should be and what they could be.
»But the bottom line in that Chelsea will get there. Chelsea will win the Premier League in the next two or three years."
Many Premier League fans have been left shocked by Jordan's bold latest claim.
