Tottenham fans have slammed Daniel Levy after details over his bonus was revealed in the club's latest financial report.
The club announced their financial results for the year ending June 2023 on Wednesday morning, with the report detailing how they had lost £86million over the 12 months.
Chairman Levy tried to remain upbeat in a statement accompanying the details, though revealed the club are looking for new investors despite not being up for sale.
Levy's pay rose from £3.265million to £3.581million over the year, while he also received a £3million bonus, which has left fans once again seething with the controversial Spurs boss.
Fans took to social media to slam the executive, with it suggested that his £3million bonus will be paid for by the increase in season ticket prices that have been announced ahead of next season.
'Increases season tickets to pay for his own "bonus",' one Tottenham fan appeared to scoff on X, formerly Twitter. 'Not sure what he’s done to earn a bonus as in most jobs you have to earn a bonus but oh well.'
'Hard to ever defend him,' another wrote. 'Smart operator but this is obviously just taking from loyal fans for no reason.'
A third posted: 'Taking money from pensioners while awarding himself a £3m bonus? The absolute front of our Chairman and Board. Turn that dial up to ten. Let the games begin,' before tagging Spurs group 'Save Our Seniors'.
The group campaigns for a reinstatement if senior concession season tickets at Tottenham, which the club last month revealed would be binned from the 2025-26 season.
Fans were left frustrated by the decision, with the north London outfit also announcing that there would be a six per cent hike on season tickets from 2024-25.
