SuperSport United will host an in-form Kaizer Chiefs outfit in the DStv Premiership this week, with the two PSL giants set to do battle at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm (SA, GMT+2)
Returning to DStv Premiership action this week, SuperSport recently recorded a 1-1 draw against Gaborone United in a first-leg CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie.
Prior to their commitments in Africa, SuperSport suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership, as Abafana Bes’thende continued their spirited start to the 2023/24 season.
As Matsatsanta look to get back to winning ways, coach Gavin Hunt’s side currently sit in third place on the DStv Premiership log and accumulated 10 points after five matches played.
Speaking ahead of the tie, SuperSport star Keenan Bezuidenhout mentioned that Hunt will know what to do in preparation for the tie, given his experience as a former Amakhosi mentor.
“Obviously Chiefs, we all know, are a big team,” Bezuidenhout said.
“However, I think coach Gavin will know what to do, he understands Chiefs pretty well. So, we just need to listen to him and stick to whatever he says is a plan.”
