Ten Hag heads for lunch at a lush artisan brasserie in Cheshire with his wife

Man United boss Erik ten Hag was seen heading for lunch in Cheshire on Monday afternoon, in the wake of his side's miserable performance this weekend.

On Saturday, ten Hag watched on as the Red Devils were handed a shock defeat by Fulham, as Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey struck either side of Harry Maguire's finish.

It was a result that adds further pressure on ten Hag, who's side now sit sixth in the league and eight points off Champions League qualification.

Following the defeat, ten Hag was spotted - with his wife Bianca - grabbing some food at a lush artisan brasserie in Cheshire.

Ten Hag headed to Junipers, in Hale, for lunch - where both he and his wife sported casual outfits as they headed into town.

Bianca opted for an all-beige outfit with a brown scarf, while ten Hag was in all-black - including a waterproof Adidas jacket.

At Junipers, customers can treat themselves to steak sandwiches, chicken souvlaki and seabass for the price of £18.

On their website, the chain is described as 'a collection of artisan brasseries, serving an internationally inspired menu of fine food and beverages.'

Despite United's disappointing defeat to Fulham, ten Hag still insisted the future is still bright for Manchester United.
