Arsenal fans — they're everywhere. Some cynics may say that because of the Premier League title challenge last season, more have come out of the woodwork.
But, in fairness, the Gunners have always had a huge fanbase, not just with your everyday supporter, but in footballers themselves too. TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent, a former Tottenham player, has made no secret of his allegiance to the Gunners since retiring from the game.
Arsenal have started the season well and are only off the top of the Premier League table by virtue of goals scored. They have an almost identical record to north London rivals Tottenham, but the Lilywhites sit atop the pile having scored two more goals than Mikel Arteta's side.
The football on display at the Emirates Stadium under Arteta has been a breath of fresh air and led to that title challenge last time out, with many expecting the side to be up there once again come the end of the season.
That has led to problems getting tickets to matches, such is the popularity of the team, particularly with Champions League football on offer this season too. And struggling to get tickets is a problem for those in the game too, with another former player letting it be known that he is a Gooner.
Former Manchester United man Kieran Richardson, who was only on the winning side against the Gunners once in 14 appearances against them, tried to get season tickets for the Emirates Stadium this season and failed. Well, not failed, but could not get his hands on the number he wanted.
