Xavi Hernandez will continue to count on four Barça Atlètic players during this pre-season. The Barcelona team is resting after the tour and will not return to training until next Monday, but this Friday three players who were with the coach in the United States have already joined the pre-season training camp of the reserve team in Vall d'en Bas. Mika Faye, Marc Casadó and Aleix Garrido are already working under the orders of Rafa Marquez.
This means that the great revelation of this pre-season, Fermin Lopez; the jewel in the crown of youth football, Lamine Yamal; the U-19 international Álex Valle; and the third goalkeeper of the first team after the departure of Arnau Tenas, Ander Astralaga, will continue training with Xavi Hernandez and will keep their dream alive of staying with the first team this season.
Fermín López has earned it, Xavi Hernández himself has already said that he was going to continue with him and there are even those who think that he will not set foot in the reserve team. In fact, he hasn't even been there yet, as he went on loan to Linares, in the same category but in a different group to Barça Atlètic in Primera RFEF, where he had a great season: 12 goals and 4 assists in 37 games.
His Clasico golazo marked a before and after for him, and he's been working well and surprisig the staff. He played well against Milan too.
Lamine Yamal also stood out on the tour, although he played fewer minutes than Yamal. He was particularly impressive on the right wing against the Italians. Xavi gave him his debut last season. It was seven bright minutes against Betis at the Spotify Camp Nou that allowed him to set a record: he became the youngest Barça debutant in La Liga at the age of 15 years and 290 days.
