There are less young Tottenham players getting their chance on the club's pre-season tour this summer which means those named must work harder to catch Ange Postecoglou's eye.
The Australian has currently got a big senior squad and is still taking 31 players, despite having five injured stars left at home and captain Hugo Lloris given permission to look for a new club.
That means little room for young players to make their mark so the ones who have been chosen by Postecoglou can feel proud to have managed get a boarding pass for the flight to Perth, before they travel on to Thailand and Singapore.
They cannot rest on their laurels though if they want to make a big impression on the new Spurs boss. Every new manager likes to hand an academy youngster or two chances as the season goes on to show they can develop young players and Postecoglou is unlikely to be any different.
Here are the six youngsters looking to shine at any opportunity on tour.
Alfie Devine
Devine has been highly-regarded with Spurs' academy for a few years since his arrival as a 16-year-old from Wigan.
The attacking box-to-box midfielder has the skill set to fit into one of Postecoglou's number eight roles and the 18-year-old will be desperate to show that during the coming fortnight.
The England U20 international has had some bad luck with injuries just when he was set to go out on loan in recent seasons and now Postecoglou will have to decide whether it's time for the teenager to start getting more minutes for him or get out on loan in the Football League and play every week.
