Tommy Fury has called for a boxing match against UFC star Conor McGregor, following the news that Jake Paul is set to fight Mike Tyson.
On Thursday, it was confirmed that Paul will take on Tyson on July 20 at the ATandT Stadium, the home of NFL franchise Dallas Cowboys. The event will be shown live on Netflix, marking the first time the platform has aired a live boxing match.
Fury and Paul have a history in the ring, having faced off in February last year, with Fury coming out on top. Now, Paul is set to go up against Mike Tyson, a former heavyweight champion and a true legend of boxing, later this year. That has prompted Fury to set his sights on a possible bout with McGregor.

Former Love Island star Fury is currently recovering from a hand injury that required surgery in January. It's still uncertain when the 24-year-old will fight next after defeating KSI in Manchester last October. The 24-year-old was in attendance to see Anthony Joshua knockout Francis Ngannou on Friday night.
Before the fight in Riyadh, Fury sent a message to McGregor, challenging the UFC superstar to meet him in the ring. Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor has previously competed in professional boxing, facing Floyd Mayweather in 2017. However, 'Notorious' has been out of action since suffering a broken tibia against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
