Had done well until the final moments of the half when he was beaten by Kelsy, who headed home the visitors' leveller. 5

A really bright start with some confident play under pressure and got into plenty of advanced positions. 8

Plenty of good moments in the midfield but it was his boot up the pitch - not how Postecoglou wants it played - which led to Shakhtar getting their break to score. 6

Postecoglou likes the Senegal international a lot and he started the game with plenty of drive, firing a low shot that the keeper saved. Hojbjerg then teed him up for a turn a volley that was pushed over by the stopper. Really eye-catching display. 8
James Maddison
A constant busy creative presence and it was his quick feet that drew the foul that resulted in Spurs' penalty towards the end of the half. Carved out another chance for himself soon after with clever play. 8
