Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven has claimed he is 'ready' to make his return against Manchester United following a lengthy period on the sidelines.
The 22-year-old defender, who arrived in a £34million deal from Vfl Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window, had been out since the start of November due to a hamstring injury picked up against London rivals Chelsea.
However, the player now looks set to make his return to action for Spurs, at a critical moment in the season for Ange Posteocoglou's side after recently losing both Cristian Romero and Ben Davies to injury too.

Speaking ahead of the upcoming Premier League clash againstManchester United on Sunday afternoon, the Netherlands international issued an update on his fitness while claiming he is 'ready' to feature against the Red Devils. «I’m really happy to be back,» he said to the official Spurs website.
«It's always a good feeling to be back with the squad and be on the bench. Next week a big game is coming so hopefully I'll get some minutes over there.
»I'm feeling fit, I have no pain anymore, so I think I'm ready. It's long, it was like 10 weeks I've been out, it's frustrating when you have to watch from the sidelines.
