New Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has left a positive early impression on Harry Kane, football.london understands.
The 29-year-old has been the recipient of a €80million (£68.3million) bid from Bayern Munich this summer but chairman Daniel Levy has no intention of accepting any proposal where Bayern's valuation currently lies.
Amid significant talk surrounding his future, Postecoglou and Kane met for the first time on Wednesday and football.london understands that the duo's early chats were positive and the pair have got on well since the striker returned to Hotspur Way.

Levy in Bayern transfer meeting
Daniel Levy met with Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen to discuss Harry Kane, according to Bild Journalist Christian Falk.
The German champions are yet to officially submit a second bid for Kane with both parties still on good terms following Bayern's formal offer from a few weeks ago.
As per The Athletic, the meeting in London over breakfast also saw no exact price tag given by Tottenham with Kane set to travel on pre-season tour.
