L’Équipe are reporting that Sergio Reguilón (27) could be set to be loaned out to Premier League side Brentford until the end of the season.
Spain international Reguilón has already been shipped out on loan once this season, however, he failed to establish himself at Manchester United. He played just 12 games in all competitions, making seven starts. As a result, his loan spell with the Red Devils was cut short, and he has subsequently returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur.
However, rather than remaining with Ange Postecoglou’s side, he is set to be immediately loaned back out. According to a report from L’Équipe, he is set to join London rivals Brentford, who are nearing an agreement to bring the Real Madrid academy product to the Community Stadium.
Reguilón, whose contract with Tottenham Hotspur runs until 2025, will join the Bees on loan until the end of the season as the club look to retain their Premier League status. Brentford are currently 16th, just three points above the relegation zone.
