Many Aldi shoppers may not know they can get a haul from the supermarket for a third of the price.
The budget retailer joined forces with Too Good To Go last year and has since been offering "magic bags" to customers. The bags contain a range of grocery items that are approaching their sell-by or use-by dates at less than a third of the price, costing just £3.30 each to purchase for at least £10 worth of food.
Aldi rolled out the scheme across all of its UK stores and, more recently, has extended the collection window to make it "even easier" for shoppers to bag some bargains.

Aldi Surprise Bags are now available on the app almost 24 hours before collection.
To get a Magic Bag, shoppers can simply download the free Too Good To Go app and search for their nearby Aldi store, before reserving a bag to collect from the store at an allotted time. The bags are made up of Aldi's surplus food, so there is a limited supply.
Customers can check for their local scores on the Too Good to Go app from 10pm, for collection the following day. A description on the app reads: "Rescue a selection of grocery items, that could include fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, dairy, cakes, pastries and snacks."
A number of shoppers have taken to social media to share their hauls after buying the bags. In a Facebook group set up for and used by Aldi fans, one user said: "Got lots of salad, bread and meat, have made sandwiches for the whole house and have frozen some of the meat for our tea tomorrow".
