Everton youngster Tyler Onyango is increasing his workload with the club medical team as he continues his recovery from a serious injury.
The 20-year-old was part of the senior matchday squad during the opening months of the season.
But his promising start to the campaign - in which Sean Dyche also gave him an opportunity in the Premier League - was ruined when he suffered an injury to his groin.

The issue has seen him miss several months of a season in which injuries and other first team absences may have presented the central midfielder with a chance to gain more experience at the top level.
Onyango, like Lewis Dobbin, was an academy star who gained senior experience on loan in the Football League last season but who was kept at Finch Farm when the season started. An England youth international, Onyango had spells at Burton Albion and Forest Green Rovers last year - only for a hamstring issue to end his time under Blues hero Duncan Ferguson at Forest Green.
This season he was named on the bench of Everton’s Premier League opener against Fulham - a squad that also contained five other senior central midfielders. He was brought off the bench in stoppage time during the following match at Aston Villa - his first senior appearance under Dyche and his fifth for the club since making his debut at the age of 17 against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup in January 2021.
Onyango remained part of the senior squad for the following four matches across the Premier League and Carabao Cup.
