Wataru Endo has picked Alisson Becker as the player who has impressed him the most since joining Liverpool.
The Japan international was one of four central midfielders the Reds signed during the summer transfer window in what was a complete overhaul of the club's midfield options. Endo signed from VfB Stuttgart for a fee in the region of £17.5m and has since made five appearances for Liverpool — two of which have been starts.
Speaking about life at Liverpool with the, Endo was asked which of his new teammates has impressed him the most in his short stint at Anfield thus far, replying: «All the players have very high skills here and among them I think the goalkeeper Alisson is great.
»I have played with a lot of 'keepers but his ability to stop shots is excellent. Of course, the forward players have very high skills and the other players are very skilful as well, but Alisson's ability to stop shots is brilliant.

Alisson has been back to his best since the start of the 2023/24 season, making a number of crucial, and incredible, saves to maintain Liverpool's unbeaten start.
