Levi Colwill impressed for Chelsea in their 4-3 win against Brighton on Sunday morning and Mauricio Pochettino spoke about the defender's future after the match

It was a long time coming, but Chelsea supporters finally got the chance to see Levi Colwill play football in the famous blue shirt against Brighton in the United States.

There has been so much talk about Colwill and his future at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer. Both Brighton and Liverpool have expressed their keen interest to Chelsea, but the Blues are adamant the Cobham graduate is not for sale.

Ironically, his first match of pre-season came against Brighton, with plenty of the opposition players his former teammates. It was also Colwill's long-range passing ability, something we all already knew he had in his locker, that caught the eye in Philadelphia. The England U21 international, at one point, played a really powerfully clipped through ball in Ben Chilwell's direction on the left-hand side, which in turn created an opportunity.
