Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot to give Bayern Munich a first half lead against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-final.
The former Totten Hotspur striker scored his 15th career goal against the Gunners at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, calmly sending David Raya the wrong way. It followed a great run by former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane who was brought down in the box by William Saliba.
Kane's goal made it 2-1 to the visitors, who moments beforehand drew level through Serge Gnabry after Bukayo Saka's opener. Amazingly, Kane's strike was his ninth from the penalty spot against the Gunners.
With Raya diving early to his left, Kane calmly placed the ball in the other corner. As you would expect, he celebrated in usual fashion.
The 30-year-old made his way over to the corner flag, wagging his finger while struggling to hide his delight. He then did his usual jump in the air and fist pump which was so often seen at Tottenham.
Before the match, Rio Ferdinand and Martin Keown spoke about Kane and the danger he poses. Ferdinand said: «Harry Kane, wherever he plays, whatever shirt he puts on, he scores goals. He’s done the same he has done throughout his career, even now he is in Bayern Munich.
