When Tottenham vs Man City could be played and Real Madrid's role in alternative date revealed

Originally set to take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge on Friday, February 23 before the west London club's Carabao Cup final participation put a stop to that happening, the game in SW6 will now be played on Thursday, May 2. That fixture now comes smack bang in the middle of a week featuring Tottenham's home clash against Arsenal and their away trip to Liverpool.

Having received confirmation of that Chelsea game last Friday, Spurs are now waiting for a new date for their Premier League showdown against Man City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Unfortunately the game will not be played on Saturday, April 20 as planned due to Pep Guardiola's side playing in the semi-finals of the FA Cup that weekend.
