Early life and biographyHe was born on October 10, 2002, in Cockermouth, England. He attended Cockermouth School and St Bede's College while growing up.
He started his football career with Cockermouth and Carlisle United. It wasn’t long before the big English clubs discovered his talent, with Manchester City signing the 12-year-old Trafford in August 2015 to be part of their youth system.

Football Trafford excels at BoltonHe started his senior career in July 2021 when he moved on loan to Accrington Stanley.
City then loaned him to Bolton on January 13, 2022, with the Wanderers signing him for the remainder of the 2021-22 season.
He started his Bolton career with a bang, recording clean sheets in each of his four matches for the club. He became the first player in Bolton’s history to accomplish such a feat.
He rejoined Bolton on loan for the 2022-23 season, signing a deal with the club on June 15, 2022.
