Tottenham Hotspur looked imperious during their 5-1 victory over Burnley on Saturday afternoon, with Son Heung-min netting a hat-trick
Tottenham Hotspur's fine start to the 2023/24 Premier League campaign continued on Saturday as they defeated Burnley 5-2.
Vincent Kompany's side took the lead after just four minutes, with Lyle Foster breaking the deadlock at Turf Moor. But Spurs hit back shortly after the quarter of an hour mark through prolific attacker Son Heung-min before Cristian Romero put the away side 2-1 up on the brink of half-time.
Summer signing James Maddison then doubled the north Londoners' lead after the break, with Son then netting two more times to complete his hat-trick. The result means that the Lilywhites now have accrued ten points from their first four league fixtures, with league leaders Manchester City the only team to secure 12 points this term.
