Harry Kane haunted Granit Xhaka for years during his time at Tottenham, and now the former Tottenham striker has struck again
Bayern Munich supporters have poked fun at Arsenal and Tottenham fans after Harry Kane beat Granit Xhaka to a header, scoring his fourth goal in the Bundesliga. The 30-year-old striker has hit the ground running this season despite a change of scenery after 19-years with the Lilywhites.
Kane's impressive performances in the early weeks of the campaign have already laid the foundations to a title charge, with Thomas Tuchel's side one of only several clubs still unbeaten. After failing to get his hands on any silverware at Spurs, the England international will be desperate to get a taste of success in Germany.
And he certainly seems to be pulling his weight, adding another goal to his name. Kane handed Bayern the lead against Bayer Leverkusen inside the opening 10 minutes with an uncontested header from a corner.
Leroy Sane's delivery found the Englishman unmarked at the back post after his elusive run left Xhaka rooted to the spot – similar to that goal against Panama in the 2018 World Cup. Unsurprisingly, football fans on social media quickly made sure Arsenal supporters knew that the former Gunners midfielder was at fault for Kane's effort.
