Both Alan Shearer and Darren Bent have pointed toward Arsenal's upcoming away games as a 'worry' in the title race with Liverpool and Manchester City.
Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League table, leading Liverpool by goal difference and one point ahead of Man City. The Gunners are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium.
That is one of five away games for Arsenal in the final months of the season. Other trips include visits to Manchester United, Tottenham and Brighton.
When assessing the title race, former Premier League striker Bent believes that how the club do in those fixtures away from the Emirates Stadium could determine if Arsenal finish the season at the top of the league.
“City are one of those teams where if they get beat by Arsenal tomorrow for instance, I can still see them winning the rest of their games from now until the end of the season because they’ve done it before,” he told the Premier League’s Matchday Live .
“I look at Arsenal’s run-in there and it’s the away games where I’m a little bit [concerned], Man City away, Brighton away, ticky place, then you go to the North London derby, then you’ve got Wolves away, Manchester United of course as well. All away from home, they’re the ones where I think if Arsenal can get past those fixtures they’ve got a chance.
