Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has delivered an update on Cristian Romero's recent injury issue, revealing that the Argentina international is set for around a month on the sidelines. Romero was taken off at half-time of Spurs' recent clash against Everton with a suspected hamstring problem.
And it is bad news regarding the talented centre-back's issue. Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's clash against Brighton & Hove Albion, Postecoglou said: «Not so great with Romero.
»He had a scan and he's got a hamstring strain. We're looking at four to five weeks with him."
It is a huge blow for the north Londoners, who already have several injuries throughout the first-team. Fellow centre-half Micky van de Ven is also on the sidelines having sustained a hamstring problem during last month's 4-1 defeat to Chelsea.
The Dutch international recently revealed that he hopes to return to training in a couple of weeks, with Postecoglou now responding in a coy fashion. When asked about Van de Ven's comments, the Spurs manager said: «Where did he say that? Ah the darts.

»I wouldn't put too much in what the players say mate. I don't think [he'll be back for] Burnley, maybe for Man United but I wouldn't know until I see him in training.
