Ange Postecoglou will once again have to tweak to his Tottenham team when they return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon. Seeing their run of three successive wins come to an end on Thursday night following a 4-2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion, in-form Bournemouth are next up for the Lilywhites at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At a time when Spurs are already without a host of key players due to injury and suspension, Dejan Kulusevski will now watch the Bournemouth showdown from the sidelines after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Brighton. Only needing to get through the match at the Amex without picking up a caution to avoid a one-match suspension, the Swede could have no complaints at all after pulling back Danny Welbeck in the area that resulted in Joao Pedro's first penalty of the match.
With Kulusevski now suspended for the visit of the Cherries, it should be a fairly simple decision for Postecoglou when it comes to naming the 23-year-old's replacement in midfield. Giovani Lo Celso will be in the driving seat to come back into the team and take his place alongside Pape Matar Sarr and one of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Oliver Skipp in the middle of the park.
Impressing off the substitutes' bench last weekend against Everton as he made things happen in the final third in the closing stages, the Argentina international came on for the final 25 minutes at Brighton and tried to get Tottenham back into the contest. Giving away a penalty in the 75th minute after bringing Evan Ferguson down in the box when coming from behind to try and win the ball, Lo Celso made seven passes into the final third and created two chances in his game time on the south coast.
