For the first time since Brendan Rodgers was sacked in October 2015, Liverpool will begin their search for a new name in the Anfield dugout. Speaking during Friday's press conference Liverpool Chief Executive Officer, Billy Hogan, revealed that both he and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon will be among those involved in the process.
"It’s obviously a sad day but it’s also one that [is] a credit to Jürgen, he’s come to the decision he wanted to give the club the opportunity to go through what will be an orderly process and that’s not easy to do if this news isn’t public," Hogan said.
