PSG have reportedly shortlisted Victor Osimhen as their replacement for Kylian Mbappe should he decide to leave the club at the end of the season.
On Thursday, reports from The Athletic suggested Mbappe had made his decision on his future. The French winger is believed to be wanting a fresh challenge and has his heart set on a move away from Paris.
For Luis Enrique's side, it is clearly a massive blow. Not only are they losing one of the world's best talents but he is also set to exit on a free when his contract expires in the summer.
However, football moves fast and PSG have reportedly been anticipating Mbappe's departure since January. According to The Athletic, Napoli's talisman is high on their list of replacements and he is seen as a viable target after it was confirmed last month by the Italian club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis that he would be leaving.
Should PSG choose to make a move for the Nigerian forward, it would come as a big blow for Chelsea. The Blues are thought to be keen on a move for Osimhen as they attempt to address their faltering attack.
The 25-year-old has not reached the heights of last season in front of goal but he still remains one of the best centre-forwards in European football. Despite PSG favouring a move for Osimhen, it is likely Chelsea, Arsenal and even Manchester United could choose to challenge for his signature in the summer.
