Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta might have a battle on his hands to keep hold of his 'secret weapon', Carlos Cuesta.
Norwich City and several other Championship clubs are showing an interest in Arteta's highly-rated assistant ahead of the summer. Cuesta, who is only 28, joined Arsenal from Juventus in 2020 and has quickly become one of Arteta's most trusted advisors.
He's considered one of the best coaches in the world and despite his young age already has plenty of experience, having started his coaching career at Atletico Madrid when he was just 18. Cuesta, who can speak six different languages, is Arsenal's individual development coach.
His job is mainly about helping players get better at understanding tactics and improving their skills. Cuesta has had a key role in Arteta's rebuild at Arsenal, but other clubs have noticed his talents too.
A report from The Guardian says that Norwich are thinking about offering Cuesta his first job as a manager at the end of the season. Norwich are currently seventh in the Championship but have had a mixed season under David Wagner.
Wagner was booed by some fans during Tuesday night's 4-2 win over Watford after he substituted Josh Sargent and Onel Hernandez. He told unhappy fans to stay away after the match, which probably won't smooth the situation.

Norwich's interest in Cuesta is due to their new sporting director Ben Knapper, who used to be Arsenal's loan manager. He has a good relationship with Cuesta, who is reportedly open to the idea of branching out on his own.
It's unlikely that Norwich will make a move
