A furious Jurgen Klopp confronted referee Michael Oliver after his side were denied a last minute penalty against Man City on Sunday.
The thrilling match was level at 1-1 when Doku clashed with Alexis Mac Allister in the area as he went to clear the ball deep into added time.
The winger got some of the ball but his boot was very high and made contact with the Argentinian, who went down in a heap..
Oliver waved play on and the VAR somewhat controversially stayed with his decision.
Gary Neville on commentary said that he thought Doku was a 'very lucky boy' and many viewers agreed.
Klopp was unsurprisingly unimpressed with the decision and made his feelings clear as he made his way over to Oliver at the full-time whistle.
After the match, the German said: 'It was 100 per cent penalty.
'They will find an explanation. It was 100 per cent foul in all areas of the pitch and probably a yellow card.
'All the people with ipads around me were 'wow, clear'. Maybe they can hide behind the phrase it is not clear and obvious.
'It is of course a penalty but we didn't get it and that is fine. The most important thing for me is that we can play football like that.
'I saw so many sensational performances today.'
Sky pundit Roy Keane disagreed with Klopp as told Sky Sports: 'Klopp makes a good point about Doku getting the ball but his foot is so high.
'I don't think there's any force behind it. So, I think the officials got it right.'
Jamie Carragher said: 'I think he sees Mac Allister coming in and he's almost trying to pull his foot away. I think if that's being given on the pitch, it's not being overturned.
