Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has said Jurgen Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool has left him "in shock" and believes the English game will miss his presence.
Shockwaves were sent across the world on Friday morning when Liverpool announced the 56-year-old German would be leaving the club at the end of the season, nine years after succeeding Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
Speaking in a press conference, Klopp, who is tipped to be succeeded by either Xabi Alonso or Roberto de Zerbi, admitted he no longer had the energy he once did at Anfield and that he craved a "normal life".

As expected, managers across the Premier League have poured in with praise for the Liverpool boss and all he has achieved during his eight full seasons in England. And Chelsea boss Pochettino, who saw his Tottenham side defeated by the Reds in the 2019 Champions League final, insisted Klopp will be missed.
"I was in shock," said the Stamford Bridge boss after Friday's FA Cup draw against Aston Villa. "I saw the news. It's really sad. When we were sacked from Tottenham, the first message I received was from him. I haven't sent him a message but I will thank him on Wednesday.
"We will miss him, but we should accept. If his wishes are to rest and go away, we need to accept. Sad news. Yes, a great character, great man, great coach. English football is going to miss him and Liverpool of course."
Pochettino and Klopp are due to lock horns in the Premier League on January 31 when Liverpool host the Londoners at Anfield, while next month will see the pair face off in the 2024 League Cup final at Wembley.
