Arsenal are facing a brutal set of fixtures for the run-in this season after finding out who their Champions League quarter-final and potential semi-final opponents could be.
After Friday's draw in Nyon, the Gunners will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals. Should they get past the German champions then they will face the daunting task of overcoming one of Manchester City or Real Madrid in the semis.
What makes the fixture list even more daunting is where those fixtures are placed. Arsenal's first leg against Bayern will be preceded by a tough trip to Brighton. Arsenal have won just twice at the Amex since Brighton were promoted to Premier League in 2017.
In between the two ties, the Gunners will then host Aston Villa, who themselves are looking to book a place in next season's Champions League. Unai Emery's side will have their own European commitments in the Europa Conference League, but it will by no means be an easy game.
As things stand Mikel Arteta's side then face a trip to Wolves in the Premier League. While, on paper Arsenal would be favourites, Wolves have beaten Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea already at Molineux this season. There could be a slight reprieve though, as if Gary O'Neil's side beat Coventry in the FA Cup quarter-finals this weekend, Arsenal's trip Molineux would need to be rescheduled.
