The 25-year-old came through the youth system at Old Trafford and went on to represent the Red Devils on 37 occasions in all competitions, with his most productive campaign coming in 2020-21, when he made 19 appearances for the 20-time English champions.
Tuanzebe has recently spent time on loan with Aston Villa, Napoli and Stoke City, and he left Man United at the end of June when his contract came to an end.
The defender has been training with Ipswich over the last week and has now earned himself an initial one-year contract with the Championship club.
